All consultations are by appointment and can be booked in person at reception or by calling 02882 240100 during opening hours. If you need to be seen urgently please inform the receptionist.

GP appointments are of ten minutes duration and are for one named patient only.

Should you wish to see a doctor urgently we now ask that you phone the surgery first. From January 2015 the doctors are triaging all calls for emergency same day appointments. You should have your phone to hand to speak to the doctor.

The doctor will ring you back before 12.30 if you request a morning appointment and before 4.30 in the afternoon for an afternoon appointment. If you have not heard from the doctor please contact reception.

You must be available to take the call from the doctor so please ensure we have the correct number(s) for  you.  We will also use your registered mobile number to contact you so please make sure that we have an up to date contact number for you.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly. Appointments may also be made with the nurses for our specialist clinics.

Telephone Advice

If you need GP advice, please ring between consultation times.  The receptionist will take your name and telephone number and will ask the doctor to ring you back as soon as possible.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
